3C CARRIAGE SERVICE LLC
For more information, please
We pride ourselves on making your event memorable by customizing our service to fit your needs. We have compiled a few general questions but, encourage you to call with your questions.
WHAT ARE THE RATES FOR YOUR SERVICE ?
Rates are based on the location of your event, the vehicle you would like to use and the amount of time you request. 3C CARRIAGE SERVICE will provide a horse and carriage and the driver with footman (both dressed in appropriate attire) for up to 3 hours of service. If the event goes longer than contracted, additional charges may be incurred.
WHAT IS THE REQUIRED DOWN PAYMENT ?
We require a down payment/deposit of $250 along with signed contract to reserve our services for your event.
WHAT ARE THE RESTRICTIONS ON WHERE YOU CAN TAKE A HORSE DRAWN VEHICLE ?
All of our vehicles are street legal and can go anywhere you would take a motorized vehicle. They also have proper lighting for safely operating at night. Some cities require special permits/licenses to have a horse drawn vehicle on the city streets, we will take care of any special requirements. We will not operate in an area we feel would be unsafe for our horses or passengers. If the route you are considering is questionalbe or unfamiliar to us, we will come out prior to booking to ensure it would be safe.
WHAT IF IT RAINS/SNOW/ ETC ?
We do not operate in weather conditions that would put our horses or passengers at risk including ice, lightening and heavy rain. We do operate in light rain, drizzle and snow.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK A CARRIAGE FOR OUR EVENT?
To ensure availability the earlier the better. We are the busiest during the Spring wedding season and during Christmas. All of our private events are scheduled with a written contract with the specifics of your event. Once the signed contract is received, with your deposit, your event will be booked.
DO THE HORSES LEAVE "DROPPINGS"?
Our horses have specially designed manure catchers that attach to their harnessess. These bags catch the manure and keep it out of sight. If by chance they do "miss" the bag, our staff will clean up after them.
